Voskevaz Vanakan is the only wine in the domestic market, which belongs to the category of "Non Vintage" wines. This elegant wine is made from the best wines obtained through the assemblage of different harvests of the cellars of Voskevaz. Vanakan’s assemblage is not only a process of selection, but also of creation, as a result of which different terroirs and years have been combined to create a benchmark of the best quality. A perfect balance, fine bouquet and great potential for aging were sought for creation of Vanakan. A dark red robe, a fine and perfect balanced bouquet and an intense aroma dominated by red berries, plums, pepper and oaky hints accompanied by mature, soft tannins and a long lasting persistence. It is recommended to decant for at least 30 minutes and serve at a temperature of 20°C accompanied by steaks, ham and hard cheeses.

Voskevaz Winery

Voskevaz Winery was founded in 1932. Both traditional and modern wine-making technologies are used to produce incredible “Voskevaz” wines. Only native grape varieties such as Hagtanak, Kangun, Areni, Muscat Vardabuyr, Milagh and Voskehat (Kharji) are used in our wine production. The concept of the Winery is to recreate and keep the heritage of traditional Armenian wine-making. In order to follow this concept our winemakers use ancient 100 years old karases (Armenian clay amphora) for wine ageing. Due to the unique Armenian terroir and ideal climate Voskevaz Winery’s team creates indigenous Armenian wines.
