Cherry red of medium-high intensity, with garnet highlights. Dense legs. Intense aromas of fresh wild red fruits. Aeration reveals predominant balsamic, toasted and smoked notes evoking its time in the cask, preceded by mineral and chocolate hints. Smooth, sweet mouthfeel, followed by the complexity provided by the tannins and the acidity. Long finish with notes of almonds, hazelnuts and liquorice.
