Miquel Canals Ollé was the founder of the winery which today bear the name of RAMON CANALS. From its very origins, the Canals Canals family has been linked to the cultivation of vineyards and the production of wine. The family house and our wine cellars in Castellví de Rosanes, a small village in the wine-growing region of the Penedès denomination of origin region, date back to our beginnings in 1903.

This land was where fruit was harvested and later prepared, transforming it into the wine which was sold at the family home. In 1975, Miquel Canals Ollé and his son Ramon Canals Llaverol, an oenologist by profession, pooled their resources and decided to produce their first bottles of bottled wine and cava.

In 1978, through the marriage of MªÀngels Canals Duran and Ramon Canals Llaverol, the RAMON CANALS was founded. The company offers a wide range of products which are made with the utmost dedication in order to satisfy the most discerning palates, using always grapes from sustainable vineyards with respect to the environment.

Today their sons, Ramon and Marta Canals are ready to inherit the family wisdom and keep it as cultural heritage, a company in harmony with technical advances and an ever-increasing market.
