A complex wine with a rich golden hue

showing exuberant aromas of lemon,

honeymelon and vanilla with a hint of

toasted hazelnuts. Lush, ripe fruit follows

through on the palate with an impeccable

sugar and acid balance. This is an opulent,

full bodied wine with a velvety mouthfeel.

Alvi's Drift Wines

Albertus Viljoen van der Merwe, Alvi to his friends,

established a property South of Worcester in

1928 and his son, Berti to his friends, started

producing wine. Today the wines are being made

by his grandchildren, the property has grown from

humble beginnings to the world-renowned Alvi’s Drift

wine farm it is today.
