Tasting notes of winery's winemaker

Appearance. Bright and clear, deep garnet hue with crimson tinges, high viscosity.

High aromatic intensity, expressive wine with a spicy

fruit-forward character; namely, hibiscus, plums, black berries and figs, cocoa, tobacco and chocolate; some tertiary spicy

aromas are detectable at the end, such as black pepper.

Palate. Powerful attack, dry and fresh with smooth tannins. Long

aftertaste full of nuances such as ripe black fruits and spices.

FREIXENET DE MÉXICO S.A. DE C.V.

We are a Mexican Winery, product quality is our main concern, meeting all necessary requirements to obtain excellent wines, from harvesting up until the bottle reaches the customer. Our cellar (25 m deep, one of the deepest in Latin America) preservers natural conditions, favoring both the second fermentation within the bottle, a characteristic feature of the traditional method, and the ageing of our still wines. Still wines are fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures and aged in French and American oak, and European acacia -the latter shows great respect for fruit evolution, contributing with a light layer of tannins, all while keeping the predominance of subtle floral notes, highlighting freshness and lightening acidity in white wines.

Our broad selection of wines is made up of 60 labels of both still and sparkling wines.
