The Verreaux Pinotage is made without

compromise. Small volumes and careful,

individual attention throughout the

winemaking process ensures a unique,

opulent wine of intense colour, robust

tannin and juicy, ripe fruit flavours

featuring mulberries and blackberries and

hints of dark chocolate and vanilla. Blended

from individually selected barrels, this

wine is an outstanding interpretation of

the uniquely South African Pinotage. The

discerning wine lover will appreciate that

the Verreaux will reach full potential with

8-10 years of careful cellar maturation.

 

 

 

Alvi's Drift Wines

Albertus Viljoen van der Merwe, Alvi to his friends,

established a property South of Worcester in

1928 and his son, Berti to his friends, started

producing wine. Today the wines are being made

by his grandchildren, the property has grown from

humble beginnings to the world-renowned Alvi’s Drift

wine farm it is today.
