Tantra is an upside down or backwards Bordeaux that orchestrates the sensuality and sophistication of three Old World cultivars within a New World arrangement. By elevating cultivars traditionally found only in small quantities in Bordeaux blends into the stars of this offering, Tantra delvers a hedonistic yet harmonious Cape blend sure to please the mind, body and soul.

Aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels, Tantra elevates Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc to prominent roles with Cabernet Sauvignon supporting the unity of this cast of cultivars.

A limited release of only 175 cases, this is the last vintage of a three year vintage production.

Firm tannins and crisp acidity uplift fruit within a sensuous and silky mouth-filling palate. Early flavours of orchard cherries, spiced black currants and black liquorice yield to mid-palate nuances of roasted red peppers, black peppercorns and cloves. Whispers of caramel and cocoa in a sultry, lingering farewell that touches all your senses in the most pleasurable ways.
