Medium-deep cherry red with garnet highlights and dense, persistent legs.Complex nose with fruit compote, mineral and olive paste notes. Aeration reveals smoky and cedar notes, evoking its time in the cask, with hints of liquorice, tobacco leaf and cinnamon-spiced chocolate. Sweet, voluptuous attack. On the palate, mature, integrated tannins and well-balanced acidity and alcohol fill the mouth with pleasant sensations. Very long, balanced finish with hints of toffee and blackcurrant jam.
