Monastrelón transmits strength, energy, happiness, purity,

aroma, colour,… elements that make up life. An elixir to share.

Is in perfect unión with the nature of some pampered

vineyards for man and the sun. It is the energy that is

transformed into the penultimate wine of Ontalba.

Colour: Rubi red with bright roof tiles tones.

Nose: Fruity aromas and delicate spices like vanilla and

licorice. Also toasted aromas reminiscent of coffe and licorice.

Mouth: Balance, fresh, glyceric and well structured in the

mouth.

Pairing: White and red meat (ox, cow) roasted or grilled,

major hunt (deer, boar, roe deer), stewed meat stews.

We are in the southeast of Albacete under the Protected Denomination of Origin Jumilla; this one is characterized by having vines with low productions and excellent quality.

Ontur and Albatana are within the Protected of Denomination of Origin Jumilla areas that gather as few places in the world so many qualities for the cultivation of vine and olive. Its climate and land make this region an endearing birthplace of great wines and olive oils.

The vineyards are located to the southeast of the province of Albacete, with an altitude ranging from 400 to 900 meters above sea level, in general terms the soils are calcareous-clayey with various loamy and sandy soil The soils have a little organic content, which gives the vineyards optimal conditions for vine growth and maturation.

We have a unique microclimate, with winters and summers without extreme temperatures, which gives the vine a continuous growth and maturation without metabolic disturbances.

All the factors described above provide us with wines with a unique and singular profile.
