Tasting notes of winery's winemaker

Grape: Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo.

Tasting notes: Ruby red with a gold-tinged rim. Deep, vibrant color. On the nose it retains extraordinarily the ripe red-berry fruit aromas of blackberries, blueberries, and black plums. Gradually it opens up to reveal smoky, toasted wood nuances, with spices and hints of minerals and tobacco. This is another typical aspect of this wine which has evolved during its time in the barrel and the bottle. Smooth mouth-feel, with sweet, polished tannins. A long, elegant, perfumed finish with final hints of coffee with chocolate.

Ageing in barrel: 24 months.

Food pairing: A rich, robust wine ideal with stews, and hard mature cheeses or try with double baked chocolate pudding.

Serve at: 16-17 ºC
