Tasting notes of winery's winemaker
2013 was regarded as one of the finest vintages from Rutherglen. This Shiraz has all the best qualities of North East Victorian Shiraz from a great year. Deep rich red in colour. Aromas of spicy pepper and ripe blackberries. The palate is complex with cedary oak interwined with liquorice and dark berries. The texture of the wine is silky smooth with excellent fruit weight throughout. Cellar potential of another 8+ years.
