Tasting notes: Azpilicueta is made from the classic blending of varieties used in Rioja Reserva wines, keeping its distinctiveness. Vibrant ruby red colour and deep intensity. Intense nose full of fruity aromas from the varieties used in the coupage: cherries, plums, blueberries and spicy toasted oak nuances from the oak ageing. Aromas have evolved further in the bottle, largely responsible for the complexity of this wine. On the palate, it is smooth and silky, with good backbone and great aromatic harmony. Very long and persistent finish, confirming year after year the elegance and personality of Azpilicueta wines.Food match: Perfect with meat and game casseroles, charcuterie and chocolate desserts
