Tasting notes of winery's winemaker
Full, even, dark ruby-red colour, lighter on rim. The nose is firm with an intense and deep core of dark red berry fruit entwined with pepper, black earth and reductive minerally notes. Medium-full bodied, the palate is deeply packed with a good core of herb-infused black and dark red berry fruits. Black pepper, earth and minerally reduction adds complexing, funky detail. The mouthfeel is fresh with lively acidity and the fruit is underlined by light, grainy tannins that carry the wine to a light, tightly bound finish with pepper and herbs. This is an elegant and fresh Shiraz with pepper and herbal notes, along with some reduction.
