Tasting notes of winery's winemaker
Bright, light straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, lighter rim. The nose is soft in volume with light aromas of ripe gooseberries melded harmoniously with nuances of herbs and lantana, unfolding some lime and lanolin Semillon-like suggestions. Dry to taste and light-medium bodied, this has a soft core of ripe gooseberry fruit detailed by nuances of herbs and green stonefruits. The fruit sweetness is balanced by drying phenolic textures and enlivened by fresh acidity. The palate is carried by the textures to a light, dry finish. This is a light fruited Sauvignon Blanc with a soft core and light, drying mouthfeel.
