Tasting notes of winery's winemaker
Dark, deep ruby-red colour with slight garnet on the rim. The nose is softly concentrated with a core of blackberry fruit intermingling with curranty notes and nuances of herbs, leaf and stalk, and some resinous suggestions. Raspberry, camphor and eucalypt elements unfold with aeration. Medium-bodied, elegantly concentrated flavours of dark red and black berried fruits show with currants and mint. The palate has good line and flow, with fine tannin textures in support. The wine carries to a dry, light finish with notes of curranty fruit, mint and leaf. This is a soft-textured, cool-spectrum Cabernet Sauvignon with a fine core and line.
